Christmas Projects + 24 Hour Sale!
Hi everyone! Sorry it's been a while, but we've all been very busy making some brand new creations for you all! As I'm sure you're all aware, Christmas is approaching quickly! (Coles has Christmas cake on their shelves, so I can play Michael Bublé's Christmas album... right?) What better way to celebrate this than crafting up some Christmas projects!
If you didn't know already, a little while ago, Stampin Up released their holiday catalogue which contains so many lovely stamps for holidays such as Thanksgiving, Halloween, and without a doubt, my favourite... Christmas!
Over the next few days, I'm going to be sharing my most recent Christmas card creations featuring these beautiful new stamp sets. I'm starting with a definite favourite of mine, Dashing Deer.
I decided to pair the Dashing Deer stamp set with Tranquil Tide, which is a combination I fell in love will immediately. For those of you who don't know, I absolutely love any shade of teal, and I think this particular colour beautifully compliments this stamp set (and the Peaceful Noel designer series paper, which I also used for this card). I was a little unsure about applying the Copper embossing powder straight onto the coloured cardstock, but I am in love with how it turned out. I added a second image above to get the true effect of the embossing powder, which is absolutely gorgeous when the light catches it.
The products I used for this card can be found in my Stampin Up store. To access this, click on the link for my Stampin' Up! website (located in the menu bar of my blog page) and click on Shop Now in the menu bar.
If you're thinking of purchasing any products I have exciting news! On the 23rd of October, Stampin' Up! will be having an exclusive 24 hour sale! It's so exclusive that even us demonstrators don't know all the details yet. We receive more information tomorrow, which I will share with you all in a blog post, as well as on our Facebook and Instagram pages - our username is @smellycowcrafts on both platforms. Be sure to give us a follow if you're not already, because at the moment, we post more content on there than on our blog (...sorry! Hopefully that will be changing soon xx)
That's all for today's post, but I will be back tomorrow to share more details about the 24 Hour Sale with you all! I'll also be posting some more of my Christmas creations over the next few days, and, as always, I would love to see anything you have come up with!
Thank you all for your patience in regards to my lack of blog posts. We've been so busy creating and getting our crafting mojo back, but I can assure you we will be much more active from now on! I'll chat to you all tomorrow 💜
Love, Tan xx
