A Card ~ Just for You ~
Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well. Our house is a little bit more hectic lately, which is why today's blog post is a short one. I just wanted to quickly share with you all a card that I made, and that I'm really happy with!
Yes, I know - I'm using the Petal Palette bundle... again. I just love it! I've had quite a few stamp sets in my time, but I don't think I've ever come across one that I love this much. It's so versatile, and so easy to work with! I whipped this one up from scratch in under 15 minutes, which is why I love stamping so much. Beautiful stamps make projects like this one look like you've spent hours perfecting that image, when in reality, you stamped it in a few seconds!
In this card, I've used island indigo, old olive and crumb cake - a combination that I now love! (I would love to hear your favourite colour combos in the comments 😊) Island indigo has always been a favourite colour of mine, so I just had to use it in a project. I blended a mix of watercolour pencils and ink together for the stamped image. I used the framelits for the cardstock cut outs, but for the bottom texture I only pushed out some of the sections. I actually intended to push them all out, but I really loved the look of the cutout like that, so I left the others in! (if that makes sense) I added a final touch by inking around the edge in old olive, which I think added that little bit extra to the project. Then voilà, the card is complete!
I hope you guys like this card! I'm really excited to be sharing some different projects using Stampin' Up! products that aren't cards.. so stay tuned for that soon! Remember that all the products used can be purchased in my online store that you can access via the website link on my blog.
It was lovely sharing this card with you all today! I would love to see what projects you guys are making, so make sure you visit me on my social media accounts to share them. You can find my usernames on the sidebar of my blog, but most are @StampinWithTan (I like to keep it simple 😉)
Love, Tan xx
